For many years Ribston Hall was regularly used for ballroom dancing but unfortunately fell by the wayside when attendances slumped back in the 70's - around the time when everyone (well not quite everyone !!!)) decided that they wanted to dance like John Travolta rather than like Fred Astaire.

Ribston Hall, as a ballroom dancing venue, has recently received a new lease of life with the introduction of a monthly 'Charity' Social Dance.

With its spacious dance floor (approx 3000 sq ft), onsite car parking and it's central location, Ribston Hall is once again proving to be a very popular dance venue, regularly attracting dancers from far and wide.

Directions

From the A38 - (South Gloucester - outer ring road).

Follow the ring road (A38) until you reach the roundabout where you see directions for Stroud (A4173).

Do not take the exit towards Stroud - Take the opposite exit
(signposted City Centre)

You should now be in Stroud Rd.

After 1/4 mile go straight on at mini roundabout (Stroud Rd)

After a further 1/4 mile, turn left into Ribston Hall School
